The Role:
Trade Finance Manager
Job Summary:
The Trade Finance Manager will actively contribute to achieving the Finance department’s objectives by executing related daily tasks with a strong attention to details, by preparing weekly, monthly reporting and ensuring that results both internal and to the Group are ready in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
• Relationships with Brazilian banks for credit lines: working capital and Capex;
• Cash flow management and control of A/R and A/P;
• Manage, negotiate and control financing lines;
• Follow procedures to protect the company against currency exposures;
• Control and monitor M2M (Mark to Market) for physical commodities, future commodities and fx derivatives;
• Develop and analyze financial and managerial reports;
• Manage bank accounts;
• Manage and approve payments and petty cash;
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all financial records;
• Optimization of AR/AP processes;
• Strong Interaction with all departments to improve and contribute to the execution of the strategy;
• Perform other related duties as requested by the leadership;
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Experience in Trade Finance within a Trading Company;
• Knowledge of hedge structures and derivative instruments;
• Experienced in taxes: federal, state, and municipal;
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI;
• Experienced in managing and training cross-functional teams;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (additional languages are a plus);
• Availability for national and international travel;
