About the Opportunity

A well-established international organization is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead and grow its Brazilian business. This role combines strategic leadership, regulatory governance, and commercial responsibility.


Key Responsibilitie

  • sLead the establishment and operational setup of the company’s business in Brazil, including office infrastructure, local service providers, banking relationships, and legal entity requirements
  • .Develop and execute a comprehensive market-entry and growth strategy aligned with global objectives and local market opportunities
  • .Assess local market conditions and recommend appropriate product, service, and pricing strategies
  • .Serve as the primary executive responsible for regulatory engagement and compliance with applicable Brazilian financial services regulations
  • .Ensure all business activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory frameworks, licensing requirements, and industry best practices
  • .Oversee regulatory reporting obligations and maintain effective relationships with local regulatory authorities
  • .Define and execute a scalable organizational structure, including workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies
  • .Drive business growth through client acquisition across retail, professional, and institutional segments
  • .Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to client growth, revenue generation, trading activity, and overall business performance
  • .Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, institutional stakeholders, and key market participants
  • .Develop localized commercial and marketing initiatives leveraging digital channels, strategic partnerships, and direct business development efforts
  • .Collaborate with global teams to ensure local operational, technological, and product requirements are successfully implemented
  • .Oversee customer support, onboarding, and compliance processes, including KYC and AML frameworks tailored to local regulatory standards
  • .Act as the public face of the organization in industry events, conferences, regulatory discussions, and media engagements when required
  • .Assume full P&L responsibility for the Brazil business and ensure sustainable profitability and long-term growth

Qualifications & Experien

  • ceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field. Advanced qualifications are considered an advantag
  • e.Minimum of 10 years of experience within financial services, capital markets, brokerage, trading, fintech, or related sector
  • s.Proven success in a senior leadership, country management, or executive management role within a regulated financial institutio
  • n.In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian financial and regulatory environment, including relevant securities and banking regulation
  • s.Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record of revenue generation, business development, and P&L managemen
  • t.Experience building, leading, and scaling teams in startup, expansion, or high-growth environment
  • s.Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skill
  • s.Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilitie
  • s.Fluent Portuguese and strong professional English communication skill
