We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions for our Nuclear division. This role will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and compliant cloud environments that support critical nuclear operations while adhering to stringent regulatory requirements.
- Design and architect AWS cloud solutions that meet Nuclear operational requirements, including high availability, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance
- Develop cloud infrastructure strategies aligned with nuclear industry standards and security protocols
- Lead the migration of legacy systems to AWS cloud environments while maintaining operational continuity
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Establish and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network segmentation
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) and NERC CIP requirements
- Optimize cloud costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and efficient resource management
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and infrastructure management
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams and design specifications
MUST HAVE
- Advanced English
- Strong experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, IAM, etc.)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
