FUNCTION: Customer Service & Logistics Manager – Brazil & Conosur

LOCATION: São Paulo / Brazil

GET TO KNOW YOUR AREA:

  • Lead Customer Service, Logistics, Inventory Management, and Import/Export operations across Brazil and Conosur.
  • Ensure high service levels, operational excellence, business continuity, and customer satisfaction throughout the region.
  • Drive performance against key operational, service, inventory, and cost KPIs.
  • Oversee regional logistics, warehousing, transportation, customs, and trade operations to ensure efficient and compliant execution.
  • Manage departmental budgets and identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop regional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Govern relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other strategic partners.
  • Act as the regional escalation point for critical operational, service, inventory, and trade-related issues.
  • Partner with commercial, supply chain, finance, regulatory, quality, and global stakeholders to align operational execution with business priorities.
  • Sponsor and drive transformation, process improvement, and organizational development initiatives that support sustainable business growth.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

  • Provide strategic leadership for Customer Service, Logistics, Inventory Management, and Import/Export operations across Brazil and Conosur.
  • Lead, develop, and coach regional teams while ensuring an effective organizational structure and succession planning.
  • Drive operational excellence by overseeing service performance, logistics execution, inventory governance, and business continuity.
  • Own and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring achievement of service, cost, quality, and inventory targets.
  • Manage regional budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives across freight, warehousing, and customs activities.
  • Govern relationships and performance of third-party logistics providers, warehouses, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
  • Ensure compliance and effective execution of regional trade, customs, and inventory control processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align operational priorities with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Lead strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service, efficiency, scalability, and operational control.
  • Serve as the regional escalation point for critical operational issues, balancing service, cost, compliance, and business impact in decision-making.
  • Build organizational capability through talent development, coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
  • Oversee end-to-end Import and Export operations across Brazil and Conosur, ensuring timely, compliant, and cost-effective execution of international trade activities.
  • Ensure compliance with local customs regulations, trade laws, import/export controls, and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and other trade service providers to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor customs clearance processes and proactively resolve delays, documentation issues, or regulatory challenges that may impact supply continuity.
  • Lead and oversee Import & Export operations across Brazil and Conosur, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and business continuity.
  • Manage trade compliance, customs requirements, and cross-border logistics activities while mitigating operational and regulatory risks.
  • Lead relationships and performance governance of customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other trade service providers.
  • Act as the escalation point for critical trade, customs, and transportation issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support business priorities, supply continuity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive process improvements, cost optimization, and operational excellence initiatives across regional trade operations.
  • Develop team capabilities, establish governance routines, and provide strategic direction for Import & Export activities.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?

Main requirements:

  • Degree, on Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent, MBA or master’s in supply chain management preferred;
  • APICS certification is a plus;
  • Cumulative experience in different areas of Supply Chain. Previous experience in Logistics / Inventory management / Customer Service / International Logistics;
  • Key competencies | Customer Focus, Business Acumen, Strategic and Digital Mindset, Drives Results, Drives Vision & Purpose, Manages Ambiguity;
  • Excellent multicultural communication, organization, influencing & coaching skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office tools, and systems (MS Dynamics 365 appreciated);
  • Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
