Quality Manager

We are looking for a Quality Manager to join our Santo André plant, supporting a manufacturing operation within the automotive/industrial environment.

This role will be responsible for leading the Quality area, ensuring the effectiveness of the quality management system, customer requirements, audits, corrective and preventive actions, quality indicators, and product/process quality.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality management system is properly implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.
  • Monitor quality indicators, deviations, and action plans.
  • Coordinate internal audits related to system, process, and final product.
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions in partnership with Production, Engineering, and other plant areas.
  • Support product/process analysis, changes, deviations, customer requirements, and technical documentation.
  • Drive standardization, waste-reduction initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Lead, develop, and support the Quality team.

Profile required:

  • Solid experience in Quality within manufacturing, preferably automotive or a similar industrial environment.
  • Previous experience leading Quality teams.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, audits, FMEA, PPAP, SPC/CEP, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong hands-on approach and close interaction with the shop floor, Production, and Engineering teams.
  • Advanced/fluent English is required.
  • Strong communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability, negotiation skills, and ability to influence across the operation.
