Main responsibilities and assignments:

  • Work closely with the Operations and Container Flow teams to make sure 100% of the vessels utilization
  • Coordinate with the Container Flow team for the empty positioning in the LAM region.
  • Monitoring booking performance to maximize vessel utilization.
  • Standby constraints maintenance
  • Quickly solve daily problems when vessels are delayed, change routes, or run out of space.
  • Keep the Latin America Space Utilization Report up to date.
  • Track KPIs of cargo roll over and extra costs caused by schedule disruption.
  • Follow strictly SOP’s to guarantee correct treatment of ONE procedures and customer request in time
  • Entry point between customer, terminals, agents, offshore and origin offices to ensure requests are correctly handled
  • Analysis of customers request and instruct correctly about fine risks to all parties involved in process (internal and external)
  • Create routes on the system for contingency and urgent situations.
  • Customer orientation on e-commerce tools
  • Attend weekly meetings with Sales, Operations, and Management to review performance and handle emergencies.

Degree and specific knowledge:

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree (Business Adm/International Trade or similar)
  • Intermediate English – essential for seamless communication with customers and origin ports
  • Basic Spanish – to interact within Latin America Countries
  • Previous experience with shipping or freight forwarder, ideally dealing with ship space, bookings, logistics or operations
  • Google Sheets
