Account Manager – Energy Sector – OPGW

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and market-oriented professional to work as a Account Manager – Energy Sector – OPGW, supporting the company’s business expansion in the energy transmission and distribution sector in Brazil.

This position is ideal for professionals with solid experience in the Brazilian energy market, customer relationship management, and technical-commercial sales involving transmission, substations, optical communication, and energy infrastructure solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and customer development for FiberHome’s energy solutions portfolio in Brazil
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with energy transmission and distribution companies, EPCs, integrators, and other stakeholders in the sectorIdentify and expand project information channels, contributing to the promotion and implementation of opportunities
  • Promote solutions related to transmission lines, substations, optical communication via OPGW, and secondary energy equipment
  • Coordinate with internal marketing, pre-sales, and technical support teams to develop commercial strategies and customer engagement plans
  • Support certification processes, product homologation, and technical testing with target clients
  • Conduct frequent client visits and maintain relationships with purchasing, engineering, logistics, and technical departments of companies
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in the Brazilian electricity sector
  • Work throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity qualification and proposal preparation to negotiations and project delivery follow-up
  • Provide market feedback and contribute to product optimization and strategic discussions

Qualifications & Requirements

Academic Background

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related fields

Professional Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales in the electricity sector, product marketing, solutions marketing, business development, or pre-sales

Strong experience in the Brazilian energy transmission and distribution market

Proven experience in managing strategic accounts and identifying key stakeholders within client organizations

Experience in infrastructure projects, technical sales cycles, or utilities-related environments

Technical Knowledge

Solid knowledge in:

Energy transmission and distribution solutions

Transmission lines and substations

OPGW solutions and optical communication

Secondary power, protection, and automation systems

Knowledge of Brazilian electricity sector purchasing processes, ANEEL regulations, and utilities project environments will be considered a plus

Experience with ESS, optical power cables, accessories, or solutions for transmission networks will be considered a plus

Languages

Fluent Portuguese or Native English speaker

Advanced English for communication with headquarters and global stakeholders
