Responsibilities

  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of international commercial contracts, including term sheets, supply agreements, service agreements, procurement contracts, and other project-related documents.
  • Provide legal support and risk assessment for international business activities and cross-border projects.
  • Support project execution matters, including contract management, claims, disputes, and commercial issues.
  • Advise business teams on legal and compliance matters and provide practical legal solutions.
  • Manage external law firms and legal service providers across different jurisdictions.
  • Develop and improve contract templates, legal processes, and risk management practices.
  • Work closely with commercial, project, and functional teams to support international business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Law.
  • Minimum 8 years of legal experience, preferably in international business, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
  • Strong experience in reviewing and negotiating international commercial contracts.
  • Fluent in both English and Portuguese, with the ability to conduct contract negotiations and business communications independently.
  • Experience working in multicultural and international environments.
  • Strong communication skills, commercial mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in renewable energy or international projects is a plus.
